Centrifugal superchargers (the ones you're describing) and other aftermarket options aren't in question. That's been done. The original question was about dropping in a Jag's supercharged engine, which has a roots-type supercharger that sits on top of the engine. I also mentioned the oil pan, which *might* be a normal wet-sump on the Jag engine rather than a dry-sump like we have in our V8Vs (I say "might" because I have no idea which it is). If it is wet sump, the engine will have to be raised in the engine bay to give ground clearance for the larger oil pan, also increasing the height requirements of the engine in the car.
