From looking at the interior of the car, how can you tell if a car is equip with premium sound?

The easiest way is to turn the stereo on. It will say Premium on the display.

Dunno, $8K+ is a lot of mullah to spend on a stereo with elevator tweeters that sounds worse (and is less configurable) than the $1600 alternative.

I wonder if it'd be possible to retrofit just the elevator tweeters... they do have them for £420.00 ea at that one website with the used parts...
