Taking pictures of cars....
HRE P43SC, Michelin PSS, currently on springs (my advice to anyone is don't, get a proper matched coilover or spring/shock) but will be on a prototype set of Ohlins.
All good input on the photography topic... One of the best for me is to take shots at that magic hour right at sunset and just after. With no direct sun the images really look great. Trick is you have to wait for that time of day. ;-) But good when you are planning a photo shoot.
I will admit that I also recently bought a Sony Alpha a6000 camera and it REALLY helps create a dramatic image all on its own if you want it to, even with just the kit lens. (Camera is very well rated for its pricepoint and I'd agree.) Plus if you learn just enough to be dangerous (like me) and can adjust f stops and create an interesting depth of field that really helps quite a bit... and is fun to learn about. I will say that my new Sony if left to its own in 'optimal' mode .. doesn't leave much for me to change... for quick point&shoot. It even will create HDR on the fly. Phone cameras are getting better but you really notice the difference when you step up to a full fledged photography tool with a large image sensor and quality lens. But not necessarily crazy money either...
This shot 'was' in the sun at 9:30 AM, but was literally point & shoot. No post processing of colors at all.. Likely was auto HDR in the camera. This .jpg is a scaled down version memory size wise from the original. ( I did crop the right side off slightly.. where there was a random crowd of people. And looking at it.. maybe not too far off from the rule of thirds? .. with my two favorite exotics at those spots... )
