"Very good condition"?
I go on eBay regularly to browse around for parts for projects. So I saw this auction of a V8VS carbon diffuser and decided to take a peek although I have no need for one. The guy's description says that it is in "very good condition". When I look at the photos, it has what appear to be scratches, cracks, and even chips in the finish all the way down to the bare carbon. I sent the seller a question about this since his description didn't seem to match what I was seeing. His reply to me was "well, the part is used. I never said it was new."
The thing is, I don't know how the heck you can even cause that kind of damage to a newer-style rear diffuser considering its location and the fact that the airfoil underneath it that would protect it some. It certainly doesn't seem like any typical road rash or wear and tear I have ever seen. But when people mis-represent their items in auction descriptions it gives all sellers a bad name and makes buyers leery.
Check the auction out here and tell me your thoughts.

Revise description and price?
There are some among us who are both capable and willing to take on a project. A more appropriate description and minimum auction bid might be "needs repair by competent carbon fiber technician, $300."
The component does not perform a structural task, but it does have to look good. An artist, with a Vantage of the correct vintage and time on his hands might be tempted.
