It can be done. I wrapped the back part in alcantara around both short edges and under the chrome side pieces along the long edges. I didn't have a logo on mine, although I don't see why wrapping it would make that any more difficult. But, I understand if you don't feel comfortable attempting it. It is your project. Do what feels right for you.

Yes, did get it done over the weekend. As per TP it's a one-on-one exchange other then some little fiddling on the internal bracket that holds the little circuit board in place.

Looks great with one remark: it feels a lot lighter to carry around then the OEM unit: reckon I need getting used to that.

WOW now that looks more like a AM key FOB! Ok with those great pictures I am going to try myself.

Ecu key holder

Found this on ebay, it came from Hong Kong, but It got delivered in less than 10 days. It works good , and fits the the ecu just fine. I have no affiliation with these folks, just thought others might have the same problem I had in keeping up with the ecu.......http://www.ebay.com/itm/371143408913
