I'll be having my windows tinted soon after getting the car, but I remember the window goes down slightly when opening the door to clear the window trim. Does it go back up once it's open, or is there something I will need to do to get the window all the way up with the door open for tinting?

Also, those of you who've had the front windshield tinted in a clear uv film, was it worth it? I don't have leather peel on the dash, and the car will be garaged. Just wondering if those of you that have it can notice it and would recommend it.
