I like it. Saw that one or one just like it in Monterey. It's a loud color but it suits a Lambo.

They lied to you. They had the Huracán up here in New York about 3 weeks ago letting people drive them out on the track. I missed it because of work that day.

As far as the C7 goes, the car is incredible out on the track. Don't know exactly what you were driving, but the build quality has been pretty good on the ones I've seen, the Z51 model has a different exhaust, the exhaust sound changes depending on the mode the car is in, and the 2015s have an all new automatic transmission which, by all accounts so far, is just incredible. Not to mention that taking the car out on the track doesn't void the warranty either (as long as you follow the directions for prepping the car that are in the user's manual).

Should I mention that the upcoming Z06 version is even better?

For the street I love the Aston, for the track its tough to beat the C7 (and the Z06 is just a monster).

And your mid-engine, DCT, AWD drive, 10-second car is silver or grey I take it?

What? You wanna' be seen in a lime green Huracan, go right ahead. But those people pointing and leaning out the window taking your photo aren't doing it because you're cool, it's because you're a tool (and a massive one at that). Don't care how good the car is, it makes the driver look the fool.

I will say if I had that Green one, I could honestly care less what those people think, no matter what they say, they would kill to drive one, much less own one. Lambo's are meant to be wild, typically not daily drivers, so a garage car that is driven once a week to special events, Why not. But personally would want a black one. They had a orange Aventador too that looked really good in that color.

Had a guy in a WRX STI proceed to tell me at a light how bad a$$ his Subaru was and he could blow my doors off, and I wouldn't be even competition to him (meanwhile his girlfriend was hiding her face she was so embarrassed)

I said "Maybe you can, maybe you can't, either way I am in a Maserati and you are in a Subaru, enjoy your evening!!!!! " Needless to say I saw his girlfriend laughing at him in the passenger seat. Truth be told I got a chuckle out of it, and made sure I started off as slow as I could.

To each their own, at the end of the day, as long as you enjoy what you drive that is all that matters

"Lied to you" sounds a bit strong. The context in which it was said is that the people doing these track events in all the different cities are the first to do this because customers haven't received their cars yet. I took off from work and drove 2 hours to go to the event.

Also, the C7 I drove was a 2014 automatic. It was a rental I had for a few days. Rentals are usually not highly spec'd, but this one seemed to have most options. Also, as a rental, cars tend to accelerate their aging and are a good indicator of how a car will hold up in the long run after years of use. The car's build quality was definitely higher than previous Vettes I have seen, but they still use an excessive amount of plastic as is expected out of a car that starts prices in the $50K range. You can see this in the pieces around the dash and center console as well as the sound of things such as the hatch when you open/close it.

Even the Bose audio system was no match for the mighty Aston 700W Premium audio. The navigation system/voice recognition was laughable. It was way easier to just use the iPhone navigation instead. And the maps were fairly outdated for a 2014 car, as there were times when we drove over causeways and the map showed us driving directly over water with no road in sight. I did like the dash display with the colorful graphics (but the Huracán's looked better) and having a HUD is a feature I wouldn't mind having. I also wish the Aston had a smart key with keyless start. The ECU is beautiful, but from a convenience standpoint, both the C7 and the Huracán have it beat.

The car had the Z51 package and had the adjustable exhaust sound as well different steering modes that can be set independently or in unison with the drive mode. The exhaust sound was definitely more "big truck" than "high-performance exotic" even though the car was very fast.

I didn't drive the C7 on the track but that's something I rarely do anymore except for dealer-sponsored events, so I couldn't tell you what that would be like. Not that my experience would matter much because I'm a pretty novice race driver and would probably be more "Captain Slow" and less "Monkey" Chris Harris.

BAck to the Huracán: one of the first comments from my wife was how impressed she was with the interior. She said it was way more luxurious than she expected (more so than the Murcielago we have driven before). I have to agree. It was a nice place to be. The only issue for me is that, even at 6'2", I can't fit with a helmet in the car without my head hitting the roof which makes it difficult to drive.

Let's keep it civil, please

The one that's supposed to be at Katie's in.... 3 f'ing hours... is white. At least that's the impression they made when posting a pic on FB with a white Huracan saying it was being fueled up for Katie's lol.

To each his own, the Gallardo is cool car and it has made a name for itself in many speed circles. It feels like a tank to me but I think the all-wheel-drive makes it feels more forced down the road (as appose to gliding). I haven't cared for Lamborghini sense the Diablo (and it was a terrible car). I think they are just rehashing the same product.

And Aston clearly doesn't do that with its cars.

I don't buy cars to be seen, I buy them because I like how they look and perform. I already know I'm cool, I don't need a car to announce it to anyone. But I do like a car to reflect my personality.

So lime green is now a tool color? So where does red, yellow and orange fall? And does that translate to CVO Harleys too? Just curious, not sure of the stipulations. btw, you didn't answer my question about the color of your car. Is it a color meant to blend in, hide & be inconspicuous? If anything the lime green means to me the owner is potentially fascinating to talk to.

Nor Porsche and all the rest, lol. Forgetting the updated underpinnings of the Huracan / shared Audi platform, of course.

I would have to agree with you based on these pics, especially the rear view, it looks awful and awfully brash. Until these green pics I liked it a lot more.

I'm not a real fan of that green either, although it might work on a Murcielago.. The car does look better in white ;-)
