Just wanted to introduce myself and my new 2008 V8V. Bought it in May from FC Kerbeck in NJ - and I haven't stopped smiling since! I've never known a car that makes me tingle just thinking about it - I still can't believe I own my dream car.
Anyway, here's a few photos:
And a few next to my highly modified Mitsubishi Evo X MR track car
I haven't plucked up the courage to take the Aston on the track yet. It is such a blast to drive, so different from the Evo - much more violent and explosive. Evo is pretty much effortless to drive fast - the Aston loves to be manhandled and get the tail wagging. And the noise when you really get on it - there is nothing like the sound of an Aston Martin V8 at full chat!
I get so many thumbs up from other drivers. I parked next to my friend's Audi S5 at work the other day, and he said he now hates his car

You will love each time you slip behind the wheel. While there are faster cars, there are as few that are as much fun or enjoyable to own. I love my V12V, but still miss the '07 V8V that I sold to buy the '12.
Nice One, Just picked up AM V8VR myself. What the best thing you like about an your AM?
Let's see now, what do I really like? I guess it starts with Power--plenty for me and I can usually find it in exactly the right gear to pass and go through the twisties as I want to--that gear is 3rd!. Beauty may be "in the eye of the beholder" but for Aston that is at least 99.9% of those who see her. Even when I walk through the garage I get a Permagrin. Soul has to do with the intimate-connection you feel luxuriating in the cockpit and piloting this rolling piece of Art.
