Emission service needed?? Engine light

Ok started the car tonight and went to the car wash. As soon as I turned the corner to the car wash I saw the engine light. Emission service needed?
I have installed some upgrades in the last couple of months. I have installed eurocharged Ecu upgrade, and supersport exhaust and 200 cell cats from velocity ap.

I need to know if there is anything in the upgrades that could cause this engine light?

I have not put screws in the vacuum lines for the exhaust. Would that cause the light? I was told it would? The exhaust has been on for a couple of months without the light.

Thanks for the help!

The car runs a number of diagnostics to look for anything that might be wrong (that's why they can seem so finicky). Try capping off the vacuum lines. If that was the problem, the light will go away after a few drives.

Get yourself an OBD reader for under £20 of e bay & cancel the code. This is a really really common "fault" that occurs with regularity on our cars.

The vacuum lines should be plugged, but that won't throw an emissions light. It will store an error code but no lights will come on. 9/10 it is your sport cats. They are much closer to the threshold at which they will throw emissions warnings than the big OEM bricks. Especially as the temperature starts to drop, or with shorter trips where they perhaps don't reach full operating temperature as often you can get the occasional emissions light.

Your tuner should be able to switch this off however. VelocityAP switches off emissions warnings when doing ECU tunes quite frequently.
