Ha! Small world, I've had a bunch of lotus over the years and was lucky customer #1and got the first Elise delivered in the US. A fun car. I'm kind of thinking the evora might be next car. But if I really could have the Lotus I'd like it'd be the Europa that Lotus produced a few years ago that didn't come to the US. Spectacular car!

Pic of the big day getting Elise #1 at Lotus USA!

You will love it every time you walk into your garage. Great color!

Chris,
I'd heard about someone being the first to Elise owner but never knew exactly who you were. Do you still have that car?

Thanks, Christiaan

Here's the pile of mods accumulating in my basement. Car is going to be lowered next week, along with caliper repaint to yellow (feel yellow on green looks a lot better than red on green).

Wheels:

New front grill, needs to be painted:

The car is at the shop right now, they told me it work will begin today but I haven't received any pics for the build thread yet, so I guess I will need to be patient.

So the only thing I have to show is my front grill from the paint shop, just picked it up coming home from work earlier

The lead time was a bit longer than I would have liked, but the car is finally undergoing the knife at OffCamber Motorsports in Dover, NJ.

First thing first... getting rid of that wheel gap:

Next up... calipers
