I've gone through the owners manual a number of times and can't find the info that I need. How do I get my car to unlock the doors when I put it in park or take the key out? It's a 2009 DBS.

 

I'm not sure that it does. On mine you pull the door handle once to unlock, second time to open. My E46 330i was the same way. Not sure if the auto-unlock functionality has been added since '07.

 

That's exactly what I have to do. It's a bit annoying if you ask me. Lol

 

It's in the menus on the infotainment system of my 15MY but I don't believe it was available in 2009.

 

I'm beginning to think that as well.

Weird. I only have auto lock feature nothing for auto unlock. I'm gonna take a trip to the dealer and confirm.

 

You have to turn off the drive away auto lock feature, then you only need to pull once on the handle to open the door.

 

I don't think that's what he wants. In my car, auto lock and auto unlock are two separate menu items. You can hear the doors lock as you drive away and you can hear them unlock when you remove the glass key. If you are just disabling the auto lock feature then you are simply driving around with your doors unlocked all the time. This would confirm my belief that auto unlock was not available until later cars.
