I'm officially in!

Here she is, finally at home...
I picked up my new-to-me '06 DB9 Volante in Virginia Beach yesterday and drove it 756 miles home to Indiana.
I passed through Virginia, West Virginia, and Kentucky on the way, mostly in light-to-driving rain, with two-thirds of the trip in the dark. I averaged 63 mph and - get this! - 19.2 mpg for the full trip! I was stunned by the gas mileage, especially as there were a lot of mountains to deal with, although I'll admit to using the cruise control a fair bit outside of the hilly parts.
I had no problems, and was really happy with the way the car handled the trip. And I guess I'll get used to cars pulling up to pass me, then changing their minds and pulling in behind to enjoy the view for a few miles!

I'm up in Carmel so I don't think we'll pass each other on the road to often. You should bring it up to cars and coffee on Saturday mornings on the north side if you can.
