Aston Martin Valvetronic Exhaust for DB9, DBS, Virage, Vanquish - New from VelocityAP

Hi Guys,

Thought I would share with you a new product we just created. Similar to our Valvetronic exhaust for the Vantage Variants, this new system will fit all DB9, DBS, Virage & New Vanquish models. It has been setup to be very sporting when the valves are open, and very quiet with the valves closed. A true mild to wild setup!!! Paired with an exhaust valve switch, or a remote control setup (which we can provide) you get the best of both worlds.

We can also customize the sound levels on this setup, just like our other systems, so that the sound with valves open or closed can be altered in volume.

Depends upon how we configure the internals. On our VelocityAP 'Sport' & 'Supersport' the sound levels are the same as QS.

For this particular exhaust as configured above, the sound levels are actually quieter than stock with the valves closed, and roughly equivalent to our 'Sports' sound level with the valves open. This was produced for a customer in New Zealand who was fitting our Full +49BHP Power Pack to a 2014 Vanquish. Due to the large increase in sound level from the Power Pack components, he wanted the car silenced back down towards OEM sound levels with valves closed, but nice and sporting with valves open.

As a stand-alone setup with no other modifications, I would recommend 'SuperSport' sound level on valve open, and 'Sport' with Valves Closed. If you like things a touch louder, that could be paired with a set of secondary de-cat pipes for a nice effect.

I'm wondering more about the sound tone not level. How does your equivalent super sport system sound compared to a QS super sport exhaust tone wise? Is it deeper? Raspier? The same perhaps?

For our non-xpipe system, there's very little difference in sound in my experience.
