D2

I know I am going to get a hard time for this.... BUT I still really like the deep lip 5 spoke from D2. Not on my car 'yet'... but likely some day. I know they won't be confused for 'factory'... and I am good with that.

I'm actually a big fan of those. They were the first aftermarket wheel I liked on the V8V. I think they look great, I just wanted something more sporty so I went a different route.

And Yes they are the best wheels for an Aston
I love those wheels and I think the wheel/tire fill out the opening really well. The post I found this picture in says the car is unmodified, although it looks a bit lowered to me.. ??

I'm a little concerned because I can't find any other photos of the DBS wheels fitted on a Db9. That seems to be a bit odd. I can't believe that if it's a good fit it hasn't been done more.

I guess I'll find out next week when mine arrive.. Fingers crossed.

For the money it's hard to beat Forgestars. They have almost all oft he same designs as ADV1 at 1/3 the price shipped with custom offset. And the weights are shockingly impressively low given they are not true machined wheel.

Only downside with any aftermarket wheel is the lack of good Lugnuts available for the 14x2.0 size

The Vantage has much wider rear flares and can accommodate the DBS wheels as shown in the above post, but that is not the case with the DB9. The rears will stick out 27.5 mm compared to your existing wheels. You may or may not like the way that looks.
Do you know what the offset is on the late model Db9/virage wheels are? I'm wondering how much different they are from the DBS wheels. ??

AFAIK, all DB9/Virage wheels are the same width/offset. No difference between early and late models.

There's a reason pictures of DB9's with DBS wheels fitted are scarce... The front wheel look pretty alright with the car but the rears look completely out of place imho (and protruding out ..).

I guess the colors of these cars don't do the wheels justice either but I firmly believe that the masculine appearance of the DBS in combination with the wheels are a far better fit then these wheels on a DB9.

I understand what you're saying but I just don't see it.. I guess I'll know pretty soon as my wheels are on there way to me. Worst case scenario is I hate them immediately and will have back up for sale quick.. They look very cool on the Vantage too.. Imo

I ended up getting a set of 20" Brixton Forged R10 Targa Series Concave with a brushed tint. Big thanks to Adam at Brixton forged who is delightful to work with. I went 9" in the front and 11" in the rears with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Great aggressive stance without any pogo affect or spacers.
