Seafoam injector cleaner

Any benefit in a new engine to keep clean. Product claim that it's good for two years

I've thought about doing this on my 4Runner, but there's really just one thing keeping me from doing it: From what I've heard it makes a huge cloud of smoke/whatever-it-looks-like-smoke. I just don't want to deal with the hassle of finding a place to do it, making a giant cloud (potentially), and then having to explain myself when people ask why I hate baby seals and the ozone layer.

I've heard Seafoam is a good maintenance thing to do but, for me and my V8V, I'll be sending my fuel injectors off to get them cleaned and tested.

Guys, this is last resort "magic junk." I would not put it in a new car motor, and in fact it might void any warranties you have.

And smoke? I tried it one time on my race car (TR8 with a 3.5 liter V8) and the neighborhood looked like it had been hit with a mosquito bomb. I had a sticky lifter and tried this to loosen it up. No go.

Frankly, ahead of schedule oil changes with good oil, and filter changes, are what will keep your motor healthy. Plus good quality gas.

Seafoam is the best over the counter injector cleaner by far. Have been using it religiously for years. Seafoam only smokes if you do the intake manifold method. If you out it in your gas tank you do not get any smoke at all.

It does a fantastic job of cleaning up carbon deposits (which astons have a ton of bc they run so pig rich),a nd also smoothen out the idle and make sure the engine is running in tip top shape. It also cleans up any gunk in the fuel lines and fuel filters as well along the way.

Use a full bottle for a half tank of gas and run the **** out of the car for the rest of the tank, it will clear out any gunk in the entire system and is far stronger than any of those gimic STP type fuel injectors you find at gas station (those are way too weak to actually do anything).
