Upgrading halogens to xenons on a Aston Martin Vantage

I realize that most probably already have xenons/HIDs in their Vantages, but for some odd reason, the original owner of my 2006 decided not to upgrade.

The halogens look bad, and I'm anxious to upgrade - any experience or recommendations on doing it yourself?

No idea, but curious how the halogens look, could you take a few pics of them please?

The discussions in Pistonheads are for upgrading the halogen high (main) beams to HID on the Vantage (J12MOC) and DB9 (8tech). The OP is asking about converting halogen low (dip) beams. I suspect the process is very similar, though.

Thank you guys. There's not much room in the wheel well for even the slim ballasts. Think I'm going to need to mount them in the engine bay and run cables to the headlights.
