Steering wheel project.

I sent my DB9 steering wheel off to DCT Motorsports to have it recovered in new leather and Alcantara about a month ago and just received it back yesterday. I couldn't be happier with the results.

It was important to me that the wheel retained a "stock" appearance. I wanted the leather and stitching to match the rest of the interior perfectly and they nailed it. These guys can do anything you can dream up from changing the shape of the wheel to covering in wood to carbon fiber.

Ivan was wonderful to deal with and incredibly patient with me and my inability to make up my mind. In the end, I think it turned out perfect and I just wanted to share some photos.

Thank you. I really liked that the design options were pretty much infinite. I was able to select how much I wanted to thicken up the padding and the exact configuration of the leather/alcantara. He sent me several photoshop "proofs" to look at throughout the process. Great company..

Thank you. Sounds interesting, I would try to include some other body color within the interior to help tie it together. Post some pictures.. Good luck!

That sounds interesting.. Are you changing the pattern? I've been thinking about doing my seats as well.

I vote for covering it in steering-wheel matching alcantara. This is one easy DIY project (promise) although that first time you pry off the ski slope it's a MAJOR leap of faith. Trust me you won't break it.

Thank you. Regarding the *****.. Those are not oem. Both heat/ac and audio. They're made by a gentleman in the UK and I just recently added those also. His name is Tony Hall and if you search him on this forum you will easily find his pricing and contact information. Really nice pieces, I couldn't be more happy.
