You think! Wow that article makes me want to trade in my 2007 Vantage for a new GT, oh if only I had the bucks.

Maybe someone a AM has wised up and started giving these guys manual transmission cars to review. It seems like the last couple of really positive reviews I have seen have been in m/t cars.

He's a local PDX guy (the reviewer). Many of the Digital Trends guys are active in Portland C & C. They're a good bunch of lads, and really are true car-guys.

 

Absolutely agree

Any time a car with a manual gets reviewed, it gets overwhelming positive reviews.

Any time a car with paddles gets reviewed, it gets positive reviews with negative comments about the gearbox.

 

I love the new GT! I don't think I could ever buy one new as AM depreciation is horrific.

Agreed. I drove it and loved it. I configured it at the dealer and then got cold feet, what a shame! Not knowing what's coming when from AM in terms of Vantage made me very apprehensive about spending all that money.

 

The GT is not normal for depreciation. It sells new for the same as some used ones out there.
