Wow, I'm blown away by this. After a lot of incremental changes and special editions it's nice to see Aston go big with this. Really love the balance of track lunacy and Aston style on this!!!

Stunning. Love that they are staying with the Aston Styling with the racing extras. Would love to drive that beast!

I remember people saying something similar about the limited run on the Ford GT. But the people who bought them sure didn't mind - look at the resale!!!

Yeah, great if you're one of the lucky ones with the opportunity and the cash. I'm guessing that this will cost quite a bit more than the V12VS. And that's my point. I wish they'd produce more so "normal" people could get one. Now they'll just be garage queens for a few fortunate collectors.

Yeah I understand. Really, I do. I can't even afford a 2006, 100,000 mile V8 Vantage . And you're right, most will be garage queens. Hopefully a few owners will be real enthusiasts and we'll get to share vicariously in the experience. I enjoy reading about all of the 6speed massive enjoying their cars in rude health despite my lack of personal credentials. Maybe I should start a kickstarter fund....

I'm expecting it to be well North of Vanquish prices. Maybe half a mill. Full disclosure, I don't have any inside info there, I'm just guessing based on relative pricing of other models.

Love the wide body. Like the new bonnet better than the v12. I understand the wing as its a GT3, but don't like the aesthetics. I'll have to see the side vents in person, but I'm not feeling them in the video. I'm boring and have bland taste, but I still prefer the original v8 look for a road car. I bet the gearbox is superb

I know everyone will hate on me for this, but I think this car is just tacky. For me, the Aston brand is about subtlety, refinement, and designs that are "classic" right out of the gate. You know, that "power, beauty, soul" thing. Here, the garish tacked-on wing and kitsch-y graphics feels like something an aftermarket tuner would do. There's nothing wrong with that per se but Aston's brand is deeply confused at this point with an endless parade of low volume or one-off vehicles (DB9 zagato, V12 zagato, the new Lagonda, the Vulcan, etc.) that practically no one can afford and most not made for the U.S. market. I think they've discovered that there's no way they can be a volume manufacturer without a partner or corporate parent so they are turning to absurdly priced special editions as a business model (the "Q" division fits squarely into this).
