Updating the FAQ Thread

All:
I'm updating zvez's FAQ thread and doing a bunch of reorganizing. The info in it will remain, and I'll be adding info as well. If there is something you'd like added, please let me know and send me a link to the thread. I'm also working on adding some basic info (look at the exhaust portion to get an idea of what I mean), please let me know if there's anything you'd like me to touch upon similar to what I did with the exhaust info.

Vendors:
Please send me a link to your website's ASTON SPECIFIC SECTION if you'd like me to include the link in the FAQ. We already have a vendor directory and I'm not looking to replicate it. Rather, I want to help our forum members easily find vendors that have Aston-specific parts.

This is going to take a few days to finish up so expect it to be a bit of a mess for a bit as I make incremental changes as I get time.

Thanks!

I've got the reorganization pretty much done, but any feedback would be appreciated. Anyone see anything that I should add or change in the format? I'll start working on adding more info/links to the sections.

Hi Telum I really get good advise from you guys and i find it very useful when you post picture articles (like your catch Can installation) and many others, not a mechanic by trade but enjoy the odd tinker, I find picture tech articles most helpful.

Regards

Greg

Right there with you, Greg! I spend all day working on multilingual big data analytics (meaning I cry into my keyboard for 8-10 hours per day) so wrenching on cars is my way to escape and relax!

I'll see if I can find some more that have been done. I'm happy to create some more but I can't guarantee it'll be too soon. Between the frigid weather and a stupid busy schedule, it's getting hard to find the time lately.

I'll probably just copy/paste that line into the clutch section. Product offerings change over time and I want to avoid creating a FAQ that requires maintenance at that level. The idea is to point people in the right direction. I'm worried that if I get too granular with it, I'll have to constantly ensure all vendors' products are listed and up to date.
