On the 2012, I heard they changed the steering and beefed up the braking.
Also, this was the year they changed the front and rear bumpers. They added the black plastic piece in the front and the black rear diffuser. However, some 2012 v8 vantages look like the 2009-2011 models. Where there two different 2012 looks? So did the ones with the "older" bumper get the new steering/braking and garmin navi"?

But just wondering if it was a 2011.5 vs 2012.5 thing? So the one she is looking at is probably a 2011.5 model I am guessing. But didn't know if that means the steering and braking are the "older" or "newer" 2012 one.

 

MY09-MY12 cars are all first generation 4.7's
MY12.5 cars gain most the changes the S brought in the previous year (steering brakes etc)

 

According to "the book" all these items were added in the 2012.25 MY update. This included the sills, front and back splitter/diffuser, larger duck tail, larger tires, quicker steering, larger disks and calipers. New Garmin available as an option starting august 11.

 

2012.25 is correct. Hoping to pick one up myself soon!
