99,500 mile DB9 on Ebay

Should provide a basis that Astons could be driven many miles.

I have 110k on mine. Use it all the time, do about 12k a year on it, gets treated like any other car, in the grand scheme of things it's essentially a Jaguar/Volvo with a nice bodyshell around it. A kit car if you will.

Just the paint work needs to be stayed on top of.

I'm not surprised by that at all! These cars are very reliable and nothing like the older Aston's. Ford really helped Aston get their quality under control and it shows with these cars. Good to see these cars being used to the fullest!

I met a fellow this weekend that restores old Astons like the DB2, DB4 etc. He currently has 17 old model Astons Being restored in their shop. Some of them end up at the concourse in Pepple Beach. Let's keep the Aston's running!

Personally, aside from snow how can one pass up an opportunity to take their Aston out? I've done 800 miles on mine in the past three weeks.

I have put around 96,000 miles on my Esprit and, except for the factory test miles, all were done by me. On my previous Aston I put 33,000 miles before I sold it. My new one only has 2,400 so far, but I'm working on that.

75k miles on third set of tires. Oil every 4 to 5k miles and gas and occasional wheel repair/replace. Less trouble than many cars I have owned.

A touch under 49k on my V8V, and I'm not exactly gentle with it.
