Hi,

I was wondering if any alignment shop can perform 4 wheel alignment on 2009 AM DB9 as long as they can get specifications for alignment? Or it has to be done by dealer only.

My dealer is 2 hrs away and a local shop tire plus offers lifetime alignment plan for $170 or so.

Is there any magic to align wheel or do they need aston Martin diagnostic software?

I also have 2006 BMW 750 Li and 2011 lamborghini Spyder LP 560-4 so if members have info on them please chim in too.

Any alignment shop can, just make sure it's a reputable place.

 

2nd the reputable place.. Before my Aston days I was staging at a corner garage for 2 weeks. The alignment machine was broken but they never stopped selling alignments.. They would put the car on the machine, place the sensors on the wheels and pretend to do adjustments.. If the client wasn't there, car never even came in..needless to say that place folded.

That being said, always ask when handing your keys over, for a printout of the alignment performed..

 

I've been getting mine done by a friend, who is the head motorsports mechanic at a Porsche dealer. Their machine actually has the specs for most any car already in the computer. Just to be sure, I cross compared it to the aston service manual

 

Most shops can do it. But ask around and find one that is the most reputable and has worked on high end cars.

One other thing it may be a bit more expensive as teh shear plates need removing to make the adjustments
