So I keep a little Placard in the boot to put out when I'm at car shows, cars and coffee, or other events. Just a little plastic frame with some information. I've got spare frames for 15 more. If you're going to be at Blackhawk I'd be happy to make one for you and bring it with me this coming Sunday. Just reply back or PM with year, model, engine and any other information you'd want on it.
Not including myself (AMOC also), the following 6speeders have RSVP'd for a parking space:
1. MidnightBlue
2. Old phart
3. 4pipes
4. EZCookin
5. MRY
6. MRY's friend
7. Aston09
8. elmondo46
9. REDVANTAGE
This should be an "epic" event; with 15 AMOC member cars, the nine 6speedonline cars and the three AMNA vehicles, we're up to 27 Astons!
Last chance to reserve a space...see everyone on Sunday morning!
PS:
Along with the Astons, the gathering will include members from the Bay Area Horseless Carriage Club who will have 13 of their members' cars participating, 11 of which will be one century old vehicles. From a 1903 Ford, to a 1915 Studebaker, with marques such as Buick, Locomobile, Paterson, REO and Saxon included.
These 'brass-era cars' will make the drive along Sycamore Valley Road for a group arrival into the Blackhawk Plaza.

If everybody who RSVP'd shows up, we should have 30 Astons there.
I just got off the phone with Tim McGrane (Museum Director), and he’d like us to park in lot G in the spaces between aisles 1 and 2; see attached diagram. The Bay Area Horseless Carriage Club is expected to have 14 of their vehicles (11 of which will be over 100 years old) parked on the west side of aisle 1 in lot G also.
Please enter the event by turning onto Blackhawk Plaza Circle from Camino Tassajara. The docents should be aware of our group arrangement and direct you accordingly. I have to be there early (6ish) so most likely I’ll be able to welcome you as well.
And a reminder that we won’t be able to hold the parking spaces after 7:45AM, due to the sheer volume of cars that attend the event (over 800 last month). I know many of you have indicated that you will be earlier…great and many thanks!!!
That just means that there will be a lot of interesting cars to hold your attention and you’ll need time to see them all and the museum (which opens at 9AM)…and please, due to the early hour, keep the engine noises down as there are residences just to the east of lot G.
See everyone Sunday morning.
Don
PS: I couldn't attach a photo in a PM, so I had to post...will send responders a separate PM with additional info.
Major props to DonL. Right about 30 Astons. Was well worth the three hour drive. Took a ton of pics and will share as soon as I sort through them. All in favor of making this an annual event say AYE!
