My 2013 Vantage has the interior and exterior carbon packs. The exterior pieces are all finished with a high gloss. The interior ones are matte, particularly the facia and shifter surround. My question is should the interior pieces be glossy also? I can see a reason for a matte finish, reducing glare. I'm just curious.

 

IIRC Aston offers the interior pack in both matte and glossy carbon. I think the exterior is glossy-only.

 

You can get either finish these days. A matte fascia is better to avoid distracting glare whilst driving under bright sunlight.

 

I've always preferred matte CF interior and gloss CF exterior. Personal preference.

 

Both available. I thought matte (dry?) was an option from Q, though, and pretty much doubled the price. Or are there glossy, matte, and dry carbon options?

FWIW, I prefer matte as well.

 

Interior CF is standard in matte finish, glossy would have to be requested. Look at all the DBS photos: glossy ext and matte interior.

 

Thank you for the responses. I wanted to be sure it was right. The interior is pretty much flawless so I assumed it was supposed to be matte. I prefer it that way, since I can't stand sunlight reflections from inside the car.
