I picked up a 2013 V8V about a month ago. Even though it only had 5k miles it had a lot of little issues with the paint surface, mostly caused by someone with a rotary polisher that didn't know how to use it.

I've had two guys here this weekend detailing and doing paint correction. They are just finishing, having spent 20 hours each working on it.

I love the car and have been waiting patiently for this weekend when the car would be made as perfect as possible. I'll post pics tomorrow when I have light.

Some pics. I'm not sure how to display the job the guys did. There were a few small scratches they couldn't get out without going below the clear coat but it looks amazing. They spent 40 man hours on just the paint. They gave me a quote prior to starting and it obviously took much longer than they thought, but would not accept any additional payment or even a tip. I feel guilty about how little I paid.

If anyone in the DC area needs an outstanding detail I have names for you.

Do they do paint as well, or just detail and correction? I've got a ton of travel coming up through the rest of the year, but I want to do some exterior work during hibernating season, including side skirts that will need to be painted.

 

They seem to have left a small white fluffy towel on the ground by your driver door.

Pretty sure they do not. It's simply a two man team and the lead guy is just plain **** about the work. Perfect mentality for a detailer.
