Dealer has recommended Plycar to ship my Aston. Anybody have experience with this company?

Yup. Good company. Often used by AM to ship cars to dealers from the POE.

I used Plycar to ship my CPO AMV8 from CA to MO at the suggestion of Los Gatos AM. It took a little longer than planned, but I purchased about a year ago so it was right around Pebble Beach time so lots of the transporters in CA were busy as hell. Great customer service though and the car showed up without a scratch. Price was middle of the line if not *slightly* higher than some other quotes, but they have a great reputation.

My collector friend used Plycar with his rare exotic; they clearly caused issues with the car. Plycar is pushing back with their insurance, even with b4 and after photo evidence.

Of course, damages can occur with any carrier/driver, but its the attitude when it occurs and how its resolved that is most important. If carrier delivers a car in perfectly, of course, any carrier is great. It's when there is an issue and how any business should handle it professionally.
