DB9 Transmission fluid flush

Anybody ever drained the fluid and replaced the filter?

I read were the fill plug is behind the right (pass. side) exhaust manifold. Is that the only part in the way?

Automatically does it when a transmission cooler hose split's. So chances are it's had fluids added if they have the updated version fitted. The filter is part of the pan itself. If you're looking forward to a transmission service it's very costly.

Unless an indy shop did the fluid flush, it has not been done, according to AM. I am planning to do it myself, just wanted to know if there were any pitfalls before I started.

Thanks,
Randy

Markchip is on a distinguished road
Try this for some info... Aston1936.com/2016/01/04/changing-the-rear-differential-transaxle-fluid-and-filter-on-an-aston-martin-db9/

By the way, it's for a RHD model.

Just finished reading that and several others he did, they are excellent write-ups, especially the one on putting the car on jackstands.
Thanks for the info.
