Keep or Sell my 15 Vantage GT?
The day you put a cage in the Vantage I'd say your $85k goes to $65k.
Dedicated Track car = run HARD. And yes, likely no warranty on the powertrain. I know some have fun with the V on the track, but its just got too much luxury stuff to haul around on frankly not enough torque. If you are going to get 'more' of the track bug.. I don't think the V is the platform to be building on to be competitive.
The Vantage is STIFF on public roads, and you are right..LA is miserable for road quality.
Let someone else enjoy your GT. If you REALLY want a V track car... sell your 15 and buy an '09. Pocket the remaining $40k!
Best of luck with the decision El Diablo!

If you want something to do both and be unique, get an Evora 400. Nice power, will out handle any porsche, except the top of the line 911 and looks WAY better. Point here is, if you are not capable of driving a car to its limit and I am not saying you cant, the Vantage will be good for you, at the track.
Me, I plan to track mine now and again, but I also know I cannot drive it to its limits, with a few upgrades.
Can't help it, I like to be unique when it comes to cars.

Well THAT's debatable. One thing that it isn't, is well built. When I was looking at one, it made an impression on me...a kit car impression.
$85K is a very good offer. I have seen similar cars list on Autotrader for $95K. Take the loss and be done with it. Also, realize you will never enjoy a sports car on crappy roads or in traffic so I suggest get something like an M3 or M4 for a DD and get a crazier track car like GT4 or GT3.
