For me it will come down to the comfort and usability. The Porsche seats are significantly more comfortable, the technology in the car is much more advanced and user friendly and visibility is better. That being said, there is something about driving the Rapide that is hard to describe. It feels like a special event every time I get in it. It is sort of the same feeling I got whenever I took my Lotus out for spin. Overall I am needing a GT car that I can take on long distance trips as well as fun around town. Emotionally the Aston is the better car, mathematically the Porsche fits the bill better for my needs overall. I will be sad to see the Rapide go when I decide to pass it on to someone else, I doubt I will have the same attachment to the Porsche (although the performance is very addictive).

Quote: I've always been one of the very few who didn't hate the Panamera's looks...until now. In the same shot as a Rapide and the Pan is just embarrassing. Don't care how fast or perfect it is, if you already have both in the driveway, what on earth would make the Porsche more appealing?
I know the Pan is faster in every way, but so what. The Rapide isn't slow and feels so much smaller than it is.
