Dealer review? & newbie help
Ok...my search for a low-mileage V8V w/warrantee has seemingly ended with Dimmitt Motors of C. Florida. I've worked with them before on a bulk Range Rover supply contract and I was happy with their dealings. They have a steady inventory & offer a 36/36 warrantee. Does anyone have any experiences with them which may cast a pall upon my decision?
Now on to my newbie question having never started nor driven an '07-'08, can someone kindly pass-on the secret handshake & proper procedure for start-up?
Thank you for your collective patience.

While I remember...I wanted to share this UK race graphix supplier with the group. They offer a stunning selection of various boy racer decals & signage.

Sportshift or manual?
No trick for the manual. Turn the key all the way, hold in the clutch until the button turns red, then hold in the button until the engine fires.
Sportshift, there's a clutch learn process:

And like any car, let the fluids (engine oil and gear oil) get up to operating temps before any spirited driving

10-Q. My question was in preparation for the sportshift. I have my heart set upon something to keep my right arm occupied. Since I'm old, bitter, obnoxious, hyper-critical, pre-stroke, jaded, somewhat annoying & fart when I sneeze, I will try to hold-out for a foot clutch.

I only check once/week. I have a "toy" problem & would happily run out and plunk down $55k rather than pay the mortgage.
I need 1st to arrange a local shop who can work with the dealer warrantee...there's only really one in VT (RPM Euro Sports), line-up a storage garage, and work-up all of the details I'll require as part of the delivery; PPI - full mechanical/cosmetic detail - fresh filters/plugs/fluids. I also suffer from intense auto OCD. I won't purchase a car with any rust, oxidation, accumulated road pebbles, etc.
By now I just know to pace myself. My time will come shortly and I'll lock myself into a Vantage which will make me little girly happy.

Vermont is a beautiful driv'in state. If you have the opportunity, drive "The Notch", then stop for brunch around Stowe. I'll leave your name with VSP. They have a tendency of turning flatlanders back.

Adrian, are you a former NER-PCA member? we might have a few friends in common..
I'm looking for the right DB9 and am so [obsessed] focused that I have started keeping a spreadsheet/database of all the DB9s that come up for sale..It may be useful later as I'm making note of milage and those with salvage titles in case they pop up later with different data

Roger that...10yrs PCA Gold Coast reg. 12. I'm in simpatico with your AM/OCD. That's pretty much what I'm going through. However I'm just collecting hints 'n tips and developing a set of CD's for my local wrench twister for when he needs to change fluids or brakes. The GF is getting tired of me wandering about making "uncorked" noises & walking according to what gear I'm in.
I check-in at the Dimmitt "inventory" page only once-a-week. As it is I'm planning on getting on a MAT flight to Iraq so I can sit in the MOF Minister's office so get my check and wire funds to Dimmitt. Sweet Mother 'O God...I'm afraid the madness is enveloping me.
