They do look like a good option I would love to talk with someone that's had both on an early car

Those are two great looking cars. And yeah, cars really do keep getting bigger and bigger. My friend's new Audi S3, the little Audi sedan, is about the size of the old A4s, and my 2014 A4 is like an old A6, more or less. I guess crumple zones and creature comforts and competing with sport utes all add up over the years.

Is there some reason they're better than H&R springs?

Welcome.

I will second the recommendation on the VelocityAP springs. I installed a set a couple months ago. I had the chance to drive another 07 with the H&R springs and my car back-to-back. The VelocityAP springs provide a much more compliant ride for street driving. I also think that the H&R springs are too low. I have cleared every speed bump I have gone over so far with my current set-up. The owner of the H&R sprung car did say he has had issues scraping on occasion.

Hey Skywagon,

Your vantage looks great! I am not unhappy with the stiffness of the HR, they are a bit softer than the KWs on the 964. Did you have chance to drive the cars hard? I am curious about body roll on the VelocityAP springs. Also, if its not too much trouble could you take a quick measurements from the ground to the wheel arch for the front and back?

Thanks so much!
Daryl
