Buying a car sight unseen is sheer folly.
I'd pay for a PPI, but only to see if the car is worth getting on an airplane to go look at.
Considering the sums involved and the possible expense to rectify problems that are not reported, I think its the only reasonable thing to do.
I don't care about expendables like batteries and tires, I want to know the bones are good.
