I've seen some 2016 AM sold as "used" when they have 50 miles. How come? Are they considered used when they hit a certain number of miles? I have seen 2016 with more than 50 miles label as "new" cars.

 

I wonder if it has to do with when they start running down the warranty

 

Used means it has been sold, registered or the warranty has started. Not a mileage thing.

 

My wife leased a new bmw and after 20 minutes decided that she should've gotten the car with more options, luckily the dealer was kind enough to take it back without charging us a penalty even though they would've had to represent the car as used because the warranty paperwork had started.
