Brake lights & Cruise control inoperable in 2007 AMV8
I can't get any solution from Aston Martin on my issue with the brake lights. I purchased the 2007 Vantage 4 weeks ago, and then realized that I had no brake lights. I checked the lights for water intrusion and that was negative. My local British car mechanic tested the wiring from the brake lights to the CEM and found no problem with that section. The brake switch was found to be broken and replaced. However, the first time I pressed the brake petal the 15a fuse blew. No brake lights! I have downloaded every circuit diagram and AM as supplied several more, but they have been of no help, mainly because no one will supply me with the wire color codes. (which could help trace the wires from the CEM) Is there anyone on this forum that could help supply a solution before my mechanic jury rigs a new wiring to the brake petal? (or I get rear-ended)

Thanks to you supplying me with the wiring codes, We were able to splice into the wiring harness and rewire the lower brake lights to the brake petal. I now can drive the car safely until I can afford the time and money to take the car to an Aston Martin dealer for a complete repair of the system.

There are no individual fuses on the brake lights. They are powered directly from the CEM, which would have a main fuse.
If you want, send me a PM, and I can send you a link to the service module that has quite detailed wiring diagrams.
