2010 Vantage VIN # needed for insurance quote.

Hi Guys,

Can anyone that owns a 2010 Vantage provide me with their VIN number as I want to pull the trigger on one come spring time. I'd just like to get a quote in advance to not get any surprises.

Thanks,

Alin

(you can pull up vehicle listing sites like autotrader and grab the VIN from a comparable car to what you're interested in)

I tried that on the autotrader.ca site for Canada and noticed a lot of them don't have their CarFax or Used Vehicle Information Package (UVIP) or CarProof listed.

I'll look on the .com site to try to find a 2010 Vantage. If I don't find one, I'll use yours for a quote.

Thanks a lot!

For what it's worth, I gave my insurance company the exact VIN a week before purchase. The rate quoted was significantly different ( +15%) when I actually added the vehicle to the policy. Lesson learned - get the quote in writing.

Just added a 2011 Vantage S Roadster. Original quote was $1772 via AAA for the full year ( they bill for 9 months ), full coverage, $250 collision and comp. When I added the vehicle yesterday, the actual premium was $1224 for the year. Pretty nice surprise!

Just got a quote for the VIN provided above and it came to "approx $2500" annual premium which makes it $208 monthly CAD. Oddly enough it's the same amount I pay for my 2008 Lexus GS 350 AWD. My old Porsche was more...

I'll save this quote and when it comes time to insure it, I'll be sure to get it for this price or less but def not higher.

For comparison sake.
I pay $798/year for full coverage, no mile limitation, 0 deductible on my 09 Vantage with Grundy.

I wasn't too happy with AmFam when they doubled my quote once I purchased the car and went to activate it! It took them 2-3 weeks to get everything setup; apparently they don't ensure these cars very often and underwriting took much longer for them to research it and manually calculate the premium. I have 4 cars with them, but may pull the V8VS out to a different provider that specializes in 'special' cars. That Grundy quote seems pretty good - any others people recommend?

Here is a good comparison with Zettinger

I pay $995/year (Canadian) for full coverage, 10,000-15,000kms limitation - summer only, $1,000 deductible and $2,000,000 liability on my 09 Vantage with Co-Operators

State Farm, $322/month, but I have points and suspension issues. I can't remember the last time I wasn't on the driver surcharge program for points.

I have the triple-play(home,auto,Rihanna) with Erie. The price for the Aston was identical to a 2017 Corvette. Both were written as non-primary daily drivers. Grundy was a lot lower, however, removing the Aston from the Erie policy increased the premium for my primary vehicle which negated the savings of breaking up the policy. (lost multicar discount) Cincinnati Insurance wouldn't cover the AM.
