Headlight Question

Hi everyone,

I noticed the Vantage, 05-11 DB9 and the DBS cars have two distinct lights in each headlight. I assume one is for high beam and the other is for normal driving lights. But the Rapide, Virage and the newer 2013+ DB9 models just have one light. Where are the high beams?

They are called bi-xenons. Hi-beam and lo-beam combined into one xenon module. A mechanical shutter in the module changes the light distribution when changing between hi/lo.

Are BI-xenons more reliable? I think having two separate xenon lights actually looks better
