Hi All,once again. I have a message on dash cluster saying r/h rear turn signal globe out.Turn signals flash continuesly when display is on. Turn key on / off all is good again and message goes away. but problem arises again. Also there was a chirping noise when signal is working normally coming from the tailight unit. I have replaced tailight with second hand unit but the problem remains but the chirping has stopped with replacement unit. I have checked connectors and wiring all seem OK. Is there a flasher unit some where that I don't know of?. All suggestions for fixing problem welcomed. biggee.

 

Does the RHR flasher work and at a normal speed? Have you checked voltage to the tail-lamp circuit or the flasher?

 

Thanks for reply Irish. Yes r/h/rflasher works at normal speed when working properly,
but flashes continuesly faster when when message appears. Voltage at flasher connection = 6.1 volts with no ignition or lights on. With flasher working normally multi meter goes in to over load. With tail lamp lit only (at tail light connector) voltage is 12.7. With tail light lit with ignition on in # 2 position voltage is 9.1. Voltage of battery at test 12.83. Flasher is working normally at the moment. Hope this helps, also Iam 1100 Klms from dealer. With thanks biggee
