Roadworks Ahead
Roadworks Ahead
What can you do when you arrive at that point when you see the road ahead is being re-surfaced? I mean tar with stone chips (not concrete).
You drive onto it and you get soft tar sprayed under the car.(This you can clean)
You hold back from the car in front because of stones being sprayed but the guy behind in a truck passes and showers you in stones.
Damage to front and screen.
Recently when our road into town was being re-surfaced the local glass shop was replacing 12 windscreens a day! He does not hold Aston Martin screens in stock.
I was lucky--one mark on passenger side of screen--but it stopped me from taking the car out for weeks.

I got hit with a huge driveway gravel sized rock last week. Shot out sideways from the car ahead in the right lane and saw it coming at least 20' away. K saw it at least 10' the way she reacted. It hit right perfect in the spot straight in front of my eyes, CRACK!!! Damn was it loud!! And I could not believe it's didn't star, crack, not even a pimple. The only thing I could think after was, "Damn I'm glad that hit the windshield, that would have made a good sized dent if it hit a panel instead!"
Of course I got in and drove it the next day, it's my daily
