Top Nav Bezel Removal

I has searched but not sure what I have seen the correct removal of the top bezel for a 2013 Vantage bezel with the Garman Nav. Does anyone have a DIY video or description on how to remove bezel and is the Nav system directly connected the to bezel. I don't see metal clips to release the Garman Screen. This is for a manual so no buttons at the base, just a key slot.

Thanks

Mark

There is a video, which shows the use of a plastic interior trim panel removal tool. However, that is not the best way to get it done.

Simply open the nav door, grab the bezel from within the open space, and pull upwards firmly. The clips WILL release.

Spoke to a AM dealer and they were kind enough to provide directions. The removal of the top bezel on a 2013 Vantage is very different than what is shown on videos. You insert a removal tool into the AC vent. (I used an small allen wrench and pull on the AC vent and it released the top panel along with NAV and of course the ignition switch. There is enough slack in the wires to remove connector clips once the panel is out. No need to pry with plastic panel tools with the potential damage of panel and leather surround. If your panel develops a crack there is a repair company that can fix it. Aston dealers use this company. So I sent my bezel off today for fix a crack that developed. I hope it comes out well. A new walnut bezel is $1700!!

Interested to know the repair company. Mine developed a crack and I purchased a Piano black one from AB for $1k. Old one is just sitting on a shelf. If someone wanted to convert to piano black, or whatever, might be less expensive to purchase a used cracked one and then have it repaired.

I'd let my old one go for $100 in a second.

I'd be interested in yours if it's some species of wood and not piano black and if it is for a sportshift car. Thanks Andrew
