Thanks i just did a search on this topic and it seems thats its a persistent problem with these cars
seems like the fix is
1.to change 02 sensors
2. buy one of the code readers to reset the fault .
3.drive it more!

anyone else have luck with these solutions to the pop up fault ...?

Light came back on, means there is malfunction, which most likely was cleared, before they sold it to you. First need to know what is emission trouble code. Oxygen sensor could be just one of the reason. It needs to be diagnosed.

 

where would you suggest going? i called Galpin and they dont want to deal with smog diagnosis or repair!
