2008 DB6 engine question

I'm a bit confused as to the V12 in this car.
Some reviews say 470 HP and others say 444 or 449 for the Volante.

Is the 470 number for European cars, and the 444 for U.S. cars?

I meant DB9 in the title.

thanks
Mike

2009 was the upgrade year for the DB9 (which im assuming thats what you mean)

far as I know, the 2008 has 450hp, the 2009-2012 has 470hp and the 2013+ has 510hp

Thanks Sonies,
Yes I meant DB9. Seems odd that some magazines quoted 470hp for the 2008 model.

Its 450 as stated above, however I put Cat Delete pipes and the VelocityAP tune on my 05' and yes it woke the car up. Nice difference right off the bat. Car felt like it revved much easier, felt like the gas pedal response was "touchy" rather than solid, and it definitely pulled much better through the gears. I have a manual.

I don't think any of the HP rating difference between 05' and 13' were anything major engine wise, but power definitely came from the factory tunes. the newer engines did have some changes, but nothing major I believe. Not worth the money to get newer just to have the newer motor IMHO.

Mine I think has around 475hp now, where with headers they get over 500 or barely. Its plenty of power regardless. Thats from me moving from a 580hp E63 AMG to the DB9.
