As an owner of both Healeys and an Aston I cant even comprehend how you could mistake them
Anyways my Aston Martin ghost shadow lights finally arrived today took about two months from china but for 16US and free shipping I shouldnt complain .
Now I just have to find time to install them and figure out the best location on the bottom of the door .
At first glance I wont need to drill the actual door just the plastic spacer piece between where the leather trim panel ends and the actual door starts .
I did connect them on a battery and play around with the focus and distance etc and they actual work really well . The green in the logo fades out as you get further away but the wording all stays sharp and legible .

 

I installed the lights in the plastic strip at the bottom of the door panel.. (as you are planning) If you pop out the existing puddle light you can get to the wiring, splice in the new light .. and not even take the door panel off. 20min each. Then you just reconnect the original light and looks as was.
