Nice review, Thanks for posting it. I would think, the new V 8 In the new Vantage would be even better performance. It will hopefully be 400-500 lbs less.

For my money he is the best car reviewer, combination of his commentary, the romance of the videos, the locations he chooses and his palpable love of cars & driving

I've watched a number of the reviews now. Everyone is trying to be kind about the AMG V8 and some seem to genuinely like it. Why then does it:

a. sound too quiet, and
b. still sound like a farting AMG V8

in all the videos? Maybe it's just me...

We can hope the new Vantage will have a different "sound profile" than the DB 11 and that the engine will be a "dry sump" variation, to make it different that what's been offered in a "less" sportier version...

My hunch is it will not be a dry sump V8.
