Vantage door locking/unlocking issue resolved..

Recently purchased a '06 Vantage. After getting used to things and driving I found I had a similar door lock issue to others that have posted.
My key FOB would not lock the drivers door fully, but I could with the key alone.
I just received and replaced the drivers (LHD) door module with a '07 used module and the locks now function properly.
P/N removed...6G33-13C791-AH
P/N installed....7G33-13C791-AA

Loosened door panel to access/remove puddle lamp plug.
Removed door panel enough to remove mirror/window plug.
Set door panel aside.
Removed door module assembly (four bolts) enough to remove the three plugs.
Removed and plugged in new/used module.
Plugged in mirror/window switches, tested, operationally checked ok.
Reversed procedure to install.

Reset windows by holding each switch separately in down and hold for 5 sec. then up to full up for 5 sec.
Door locks now function off the key FOB normally.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

I have the same need. Does anyone know where I can get the module, part number 7G33-13C791-AA, as outlined by Danno62. Tried the web but no luck so far. Thank you

I just had the same issue with the passenger door on my 07 V8V. The fob would arm the alarm and lock the driver door but it was still possible to open the passenger door and set off the alarm.

Before going after a new module, I’d try resetting it by pulling and replacing the fuse first. That did the trick for me and everything works fine now.

Hi there and thank you. Tried that but it did not work for me. The car is at the dealer as I write this note...
