Exclamation Differences between 2013 S and Sport Package?

So as the title asks, what exactly are the differences on a 2013 Vantage- between the sports package and the "S" designation?

Even more specifically, a centenary edition Vantage with the Sports Package?

I know in a general sense, it's the same suspension- but is is the same exhaust?

Thanks all!

I have sport pack car. I know suspension & brakes are different. Stiffer shocks, bigger brakes, even lower engine cover is different. besides cosmetic (carbon) & engine additional HP, my car has same suspension & brakes as S car. I heard exhaust is little different too. Hope this help.

The sports pack only changes suspension components. It does not change the exhaust. However, the sport exhaust was a separate option.

According to page 53 of The Definitive Guide to new Gaydon Era Aston Martin (henceforth referred to as "The Book"): "For the 2012.25MY the sports suspension on the standard V8 was fine-tuned to include revised spring, damper, and anti-roll bar rates + stiffer suspension bushings in the upper control arms - in line with the new Vantage S set-up."

But the Vantage S made 10 more horsepower than the standard car (430bhp vs. 420bhp), thanks to intake changes. The Vantage S is essentially a Vantage with the sports pack, sport exhaust, slightly different intake, and some interior changes. Prior to 2012.25, the Vantage S had larger brakes than the standard car, but you're not concerned with those years... after 2012.25, all Vantages got the bigger brakes.

Plus the S has the following carbon fiber: Front spliter, rear diffuser, and side gills. The S also has specific wheels and different side skirts.

Thats the info I was looking for.

Sports pack plus exhaust = S minus 10hp, interior adornments, and exterior CF (2012.25 and up).

Thanks guys.
