The V12 are included in the sequential number

SCFEKBFR3HGS22862

2017 V12 Vantage S Base

Maybe only the 2017 V12 Vantage with a 7 speed manual are not...

XJRS Owner, you are way off with 31,000 as the 22862 above is very close to end of production, so if I was to guess I would say no more than 24,000 for all V8 and V12 excluding the special edition.

V12 model Vantages are most definitely not included in the V8 production number sequence. The 2 after the letter refers to a roadster while coupes have a 0 in that position.

Jagman70 is infamous around these parts
FWIW, some time ago I contacted the factory inquiring how many 2009 6spd manual roadsters were made for the U.S. market. They responded 56 were produced.

V12 VINs are not in the same run as V8 Vantages. V12 coupes are 0xxxx while convertibles are 2xxxx. It may be that the original very limited-run V12 roadsters used 1xxxx. But in any case, looking at a V12 VIN doesn't provide any info about V8 Vantage production numbers.

Same here about 2009 6spd manual coupes and 70 were produced for the US market. They further said that about 400 were produced world wide with the same specs

no wonder it was so difficult finding an 09-10 manual

Now that DB9 production is over, several sources are now stating that global DB9 production was 16,500. That number is also listed in "Aston Martin DB: 70 Years" by Andrew Noakes, and the Aston Martin Heritage Trust was involved in that book. With their "special relationship" with the company, AMHT should know. (I know that the topic isn't about the DB9, but the number adds a little context).

Vantage production was 21,500 according to this:
If that's true, that's 38,000 DB9s and Vantages between 2004 and 2017. I have to imagine that the other models were a tiny fraction of that number, so I'm guessing fewer than 50,000 total marque production over 14 years or just 3600/year? Wow.

So take away the V12s and how many V8s is the question?
