Interesting noise.. 🤔

So this is a new noise that my V8 Vantage has intermitantly started makeing, does this sound familiar to you guys??
Ps, car runs and drives absolutely fine.

No idea, but it does sound weird.

I thought exactly the same... So I played with the heater controller when it was making the noise bit it didn't do a thing.
it doesn't change with engine speed or if you press the clutch ether, however since the noise started the cars telling me that traction is off and the engine temp guage is going into the red and then dropping back down.

It's getting a new clutch and flywheel fit next week so they are going to take a look.

Such an odd sound though!

Cooling system air blockage...noise emitting from the heater core???? Just my two cents?

Mate, you were bang on!!
Checked the coolant level and the tanks wad very low so the noise was the pump running dry.
Filled it back up and hey presto, we're back in the game

So why didnt you get a low coolant level alarm and where did said coolant go more to the point ?
