According to my Aston Rep, the power upgrade on the V12S to 600HP is not allowed in the US because of some emission BS, check to see if that is the same on the DB9 - probably isn't but worth checking.

 

My 2015 DB9 is 510bhp. This upgrade will boost it to 540bhp.
DB11 V12 is 600bhp. Maybe it is allowed because it is a turbo ?

 

No, was talking about the V12S Vantage has a 600HP power upgrade also.

 

Just a guess, but I would bet this is a Tune upgrade? If so, then VAP tune or other would likely be much better and cost less and give you an actual tech to talk too.

 

Yes, it is a software to add 30bhp with optional sports muffler and dark ceramic exhaust tips.

 

When you consider that the same generation Vanquish has 565BHP (entirely software) getting the DB9 to 540BHP instead of at least 565 is a bit weak. They will comfortably go to almost 600, will do 600 if you delete the secondary cats - that's the part that can be specced in other markets.
