Thanks everyone for your excellent comments. FYI, I forgot to mention that I did check the service book that came with the car which had no stamps or records in it. I know in this era of everything computerized the past owners may not have done that but I am old-fashioned and always have my books stamped.

I am considering a PPI and go from there. The brake issue makes me nervous and am concerned about how much clutch life is left which would be answered by a PPI as this is a speedshift. The closest Aston Martin dealer is in St. Louis 2 hours away. Will the AM tech travel to the car or does the dealer need to get the car to them?

I am in STL - if you do make the trip, I would def love to meetup and check out the car/meet more owners, I do most of the work on my V8V myself
